Engr. Bomasang says he started playing golf at age 64; whereas Tiger Woods started playing golf at age 4. He says that in golf age does not matter; matter does not age. He would like to see more SMS alumni learn the game of golf and participate in the next SMSS golf fund-raising tournament.
Raymond Alipit is the head of the SMSSAFF Computer Funding Assistance Committee. He played a key role in helping SMSSI President Rufino Bomas-ang rally SMS alumni and friends to support the fund-raising golf tournament. The proceeds of of the tournament was used to purchase computers for SMS; and install a satellite to connect the school to the internet. Computerizing and connecting SMS to the internet is part of the overall 5-year development plan to make SMS a source of quality education for hinterland communities in the Philippine Cordilleras.
Mr. Kris Fellowes is an Australian Investor in oil exploration, one of two platinum sponsors. The other platinum sponsor was Shell Philippines, operator of the giant Malampaya gas-to-power project.

SMS alumni and friends golfers with Dr. Dennis Faustino, SMS principal, and SMSSI Chairman Rufino Bomasang. I can spot my compadre, the Rev. Henry Kiley, retired General Marion Lardizabal, Dr. Robert Capuyan and Dr. William Campus with the group. Anybody is welcome to identify the others and send their names to Igorot44@aol.com for proper identification in the website.
And the winner is: the tall, brown and handsome Harry Paltongan, a full blooded Igorot [FBI] from Bauko Mt. Province. He came out the best of the best golfers that the oil and mining conglomerates could muster for the tournament as well as a host of SMS alumni and friends golfers. Harry is not only good in golf, he is an accounting board and bar top-notcher. Last but not the least, he usually plays golf for a good cause such as that of the 1st SMS fund-raising golf tournament.
