Alumni and Friends of St. Mary's High School, Sagada,
Mt. Province who attended the
Igorot International Consultation in Clayton, St. Louis Missouri: June 30 to July 4, 2004.
Other SMS alumni did not attend this picture taking as some had to attend to
IIC-5 responsibilities / assignments. It may be mentioned here that St. Mary's
High School Alumni are very active in Igorot-related organizations / activities
all over the globe and were very visible during IIC-5. Edwin and Mia were the
lead organizers of IIC-5; Engr. Bomasang, Dr. Alipit, and Ezra Pekas were
workshop speakers; Norman Longid was a lunchtime guest speaker; Elvis Gangangan
was the choir master during the memorial service, others were committee
chairs/members or had spouses who were workshop speakers / committee chairs.
Yes, indeed it can be said that SMS alumni played a significant role in the
success of IIC-5 and, for that matter, previous IICs. |
