I was informed by Bishop Ben that he donated US$1,000.00 to SMSSI during the March 2008 SMS Grand Reunion. It seems that this donation was reflected in one of the reports of Chiqui but it did not specify to where it was intended for. Upon verification from manang Inez, she also said that she saw the donation reported in one of Chiqui's financial reports. According to Bishop Ben this was intended for a Christian Education Faculty. Since there is no specific faculty chair for Christian Education; that all teachers are mandated to inculcate Christian Education in their respective spheres of responsibilities, I guess it is incumbent on the Principal to allocate the donation in such a manner to approximate as near as possible the intent of the donation.
