UNDER CONSTRUCTION
Hereunder is a preliminary draft
of "Chapter
Articles of Association" which SMS alumni and friends desiring to form
themselves as an SMSSAFF Chapter may adopt. All are welcome to suggest
amendments, corrections and/or recommendations. However, I strongly recommended
that Chapters not deviate from the primary and specific purposes set
forth in the SMSSAFF By-laws and Articles of Association. Likewise, I
would prefer that Chapters adhere
strictly to the membership stipulations in the SMSSAFF By-laws. These
have already been accepted by the IRS. I maybe paranoid but I
would like to avoid, as much as possible, another extended exchange of
communications with the IRS. Moreover, I think that these capture the
essence of what was beautifully expressed by manong Max and Raymond as
regards the purpose of a Chapter and the definition of chapter
membership. LBS

to make joining an SMSSAFF Chapter stress-free as possible.]
