Alumni and friends of St.
Mary’s School of Sagada (SMSS) are staging a charitable fund-raising
run/walk festival, dubbed “Legs for Health and Literacy, during the
SMSS alumni and friends grand reunion/homecoming on March 29, 2008.
The objectives are: 1)
inculcate health consciousness to the youth and help divert juvenile
energy from addicting and/or criminality prone activities in Sagada and
nearby communities; 2) generate funds towards the completion of a
multi-purpose gymnasium at SMSS; and 3) to help SMSS continue dispensing
affordable quality education to Igorots or indigenous hinterland folks
in the Cordillera mountain ranges of Northern Philippines. [For more
information on the “Legs for Health and Literacy” please read the
attached information hand-out.]
The corporate or business
sponsorship scheme is as follows:
A. Gold Sponsor: Philippine Pesos 40,000 or US$1,000
B. Silver Sponsor: Philippine Pesos 20,000 or US$500
C. Bronze Sponsor: Philippine Pesos 10,000 or US$250
D. Blue Ribbon Sponsor: Philippine Pesos 5,000 or US$125
