Current Status of this committee's activities: Mission Accomplished.

The SMSSAFF Chairman of the Board, Edwin Abeya, officially launched the start of the fund-raising activity of this committee on July 12, 2005 with his and Mia's initial contribution of $150.00 towards the $4,000 estimated cost of renovating the Stapleton Building. The renovated Stapleton building will serve as a temporary living quarters for out-of-town SMS faculty and students.

Immediately thereafter, Raymond and Glory Alipit pledged $1,000.00 towards the renovation of the boys and girls dorm. It must be made clear here that unless otherwise changed by Raymond and Glory, this $1,000 pledge  is towards the renovation of the old boys and girls dorm and not for the renovation of the Stapleton Hall.

As of October 3, 2005, the $4,000 renovation cost of the Stapleton Building has been exceeded. Thanks to the following donors.
