the June 18 SMSSAFF Meeting. There were two stray returns which
were excluded in the above tally.
Five (5) elected Members of the Board of Trustees
present during the June 18, 2005 SMSSAFF meeting in Sierra Mia, West
Virginia were participants of the nomination and election process. Thus, it
was only Members of the Board of Trustees nominated and elected in absentia who
submitted the Confirmation/ Election Forms.

Hello
everyone!!
Sorry for
not responding to your emails. It seems we're spending more and
more of our time in West Virginia. This weekend, Farnaw Claver and
family, Tom Belingon and family, and Manang Mary Claver Fernando
spent the weekend with us. (Thank you Tom for the Pinikpikan and
the etag.) While we have access to the internet in WV, I just
didn't have the umph to open my email (:=)).
Anyway,
congratulations to the officers of the SMSSAFF!! As to my election
as your Chair, I thought I had a "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy -
I didn't ask for the office and I didn't tell anyone to elect
me. And the way Manong Lambert 'strokis' the votation, you may
have voted without really knowing you were voting for me (:=)).
Seriously,
I do want to thank you for your trust and confidence. I take this
job very seriously. I join all of you in finding ways to
help strengthen St. Mary's School. We will need to align
ourselves and work with St. Mary's Corporation, the faculty and
students of St. Mary's School, the Sagada community, and friends
and alumni of St. Mary's. Borrowing Manong Raymond's 3 T's, I ask
that we share our God-given time, talent, and treasure
in making St. Mary's High School the quality school we
want it to be.
Let us
continue working on the various projects we have started. I, for
one, will need to read and re-read the 5-year strategic plan, our
SMSSAFF amended by-laws, visit the St. Mary's School website to
keep abreast with the principal's report and other 'stuff'.
Manong
Lambert, I agree. Ulay ma-id oath taking. Thank you for all your
hard work. So let us 'begin the begin' (:=)).
