My soul doth magnify the Lord, *
and my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.

For he that is mighty hath magnified me; * and holy is his Name.
And his mercy is on them that fear him * throughout all generations.

I believe in God the Father
Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth. And of all things visible and
invisible:
And in one Lord Jesus Christ,
the only-begotten Son of God, Begotten of his Father before all the
worlds, God of God, Light of Light , Very God of very God; Begotten not
made; Being of one substance with the Father: By whom all things were
made. Who for us men and for our salvation came down from heaven , and
was incarnate by the Holy Ghost of the Virgin Mary, And was made man:
And was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate; He suffered and was
buried: And the third day he rose again according to the Scriptures:
And ascended into heaven, And sitteth on the right hand of the Father:
And he shall come again, with glory, to judge both the quick and the

Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name. thy kingdom. Thy will be done, On earth as it is
in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our
trespasses, As we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not
into temptation, But deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and
the power and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.

O Lord, show thy mercy upon us.

Collect of the Day
Grant us, lord, we beseech thee,
the spirit to think and do always such things as are right, that we, who
cannot exist without thee, may by thee be enabled to live according to
thy will; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with
thee and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
For a
Church Meeting
Almighty and everliving God,
source all wisdom and understanding, be present with those who take
council in the Third St. Mary’s Alumni and Friends Conference for the
renewal and mission of your Church. Teach us in all things to seek
first your honor and glory. Guide us to perceive what is right, and
grant us both the courage to pursue it and the grace to accomplish it;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

For Peace
O God, from whom all holy
desires, all good counsels, and all just works do proceed; Give unto thy
servants that peace which the world cannot give; that our hearts may be
set to obey thy commandments , and also that by thee, we being defended
from the fear of our enemies, may pass our time in rest and quietness;
through the mercies of Jesus Christ our Saviour. Amen.
A Collect
for Aid against Perils
Lighten our darkness, we beseech
thee, O Lord; and by thy great mercy defend us from all perils and
dangers of this night; for the love of thy only Son, our Saviour, Jesus
Christ. Amen.
The grace of our Lord Jesus
Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Ghost, be us
all evermore. Amen.
