Grants and Aids Committee

Task: to research possible grants and aids sources that can be tapped for SMS, Sagada. Research will include possible funding sources for scholarships, faculty development, student/faculty research assistance, science lab and computer facilities improvement assistance, building improvement assistance, Igorot dance and music development assistance, and the like, from government and private foundations including religious institutions. It maybe pointed out here that a number of Episcopal Churches have been funding the tuition fees of some SMS students. This should be revived, maintained and expanded. The tasks of this committee may involve long gestation periods but has to be explored to build a more sustainable fund-support for SMS.
