Re: Runner/Walker Sponsorships for the SMSS charity fund raising  run/walk festival [dubbed  “Legs for Health and Literacy”] to be held  in Sagada on March 29, 2008.   

Dear Sir:/Madam: 

I am participating in the above-mentioned charity fund raising run/walk festival in support of its noble objectives which are:

1. To inculcate  health consciousness and help divert juvenile energy from  addicting and/or criminality prone activities in Sagada and nearby communities;

2. To generate funds towards  the completion of a multi-purpose gymnasium at SMSS; and;

3. To help SMSS continue dispensing affordable quality education to Igorots or indigenous hinterland folks in the Cordillera mountain ranges of Northern Philippines

Minimum sponsorship donations have been pegged as follows:
 

A. 8 Km run for high school boys/girls

B. 8 Km run for men/women, 

C. 8 Km walk open

C. 3 Km walk for kids and elderly

Sponsorship Payment options:

1. For US-based alumni and friends or other overseas SMSS alumni and friends wanting to take advantage of the foundation's 501 (c) (3) tax exemption, please make checks payable to: The "SMSS Alumni and Friends Foundation.  Then mail your checks to: The SMSSAFF Treasurer, 760 George St., Teaneck, NJ 07666
    

2. For Philippine based alumni and friends or for those finding it more convenient or safer to remit their sponsorship donations directly to SMSSI, please make checks payable to: SMSSI. Then mail your checks to: The SMSSI Treasurer, St. Mary's School, 2619 Sagada, Mountain Province, Philippines.
   
   For those in the Philippines you may also remit the amount of your sponsorships directly to the peso account of St. Mary's School of Sagada, Inc.at Philippine National Bank, Bontoc Branch, Bontoc, Mountain Province (Savings Account Number  6505367195). Whoever remits directly to this account will have to inform Chiqui Sayawen [Phone: +639183411912; email: chiqui@smssagada.org], the school treasurer, for receipt verification and acknowledgement.  
    

3. Registration fees and sponsorship donations may also be paid during run/walk registration starting March 28, 2007 at St. Mary's School of Sagada, Mt. Prov., Philippines.
