A fired up SMS Principal - Dr. Dennis Faustino. He took time from his busy schedule to attend and give moral support to the first ever fund-raising golf tournament. Dr. Faustino and Engr. Bomasang are the current nucleus of the SMS revival initiative.

Atty Harry Paltongan, the overall champion of this historic golf tournament. Harry is a full blooded Igorot from Bauko, Mountain Province. He seems to have this knack of finding himself at the top in whatever endeavor he puts his heart and mind into. He is an accounting board and bar topnotcher. SMS is lucky to have him as a friend.

 
The First SMS Fund-Raising Golf Tournament raised net proceeds of a little over a million pesos. The amount was used to purchase brand new computers;  purchase a satellite to connect the school to the internet; and cover a major portion of the school's deficit for school-year 2004-2005.  A million thanks to the golf-hole sponsors and to all those who in one way or another were instrumental in making the fund-raising golf tournament a success. Special mention goes, of course, to the SMSSI Chairman Rufino Bomasang and the SMSSAFF Computer Funding  Assistance Committee Chair, Raymond Alipit.
