Just sharing a little blessing

There are a lot of things to be thankful for, and today stood up and added to the many things that lifted me up.  Today's occasion marked my parents 65th wedding anniversary and I thank and prayed fervently to God, for without their blessed union I wouldn't be here now scribbling never enough words of gratitude. This would now show how young I am. But I remember how my parents met.  When I was young at twelve, Mary, my dear mother told me that my father then a young Dormitory Master at St. Mary's School Boy's Dorm was summoned one bright morning by Mother Calamba at St. Mary's Convent to look at a minor leak in their kitchen.  Nothing was seriously damaged but a joint just needed a better tightening and Ramon readily fixed it as he would do things like simple plumbing at the Boy's Dorm.  Before my father made his move to leave the convent,  Mary who have freshly baked  sweet amotes for the Sisters  that morning handed my father one fairly big and nicely wrapped but still warm sweet 'camote' (kimpit ay ubi)sweet potato or yam.  The rest was a love story.  I gathered then that the 'kimpit' was the spark plug of it all.  A year later, I was born.  I am truly grateful how it began.  IT'S A BLESSING - IT ALL BEGAN AT ST. MARY'S!

Glory and I are very happy to pledge a thousand
dollars for St. Mary's Dormitory for Boys and Girls

God bless you all,

Raymond and Glory
